About

I am a qualified Educational Psychologist, registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA). I hold a Doctorate in Educational Psychology from the University of Pretoria, where I also completed my Master’s Degree (Cum Laude), Honours (Cum Laude), and undergraduate studies. My doctoral research focused on how a holistic intervention – providing academic, emotional, and social support – can assist children with colour vision deficiency (CVD). I am passionate about learning and continuously expanding my knowledge to better support the children, families, and educators I work with.

My greatest passion lies in assisting children, adolescents and young adults to actualise their full potential by realising their own unique strengths and abilities. I believe it is so important for my clients to realise that they are unique and their differences should be celebrated. Every child has the potential to achieve, they just need to be given the appropriate support and opportunities. I am a strong advocate for giving a voice to those that do not always know how to express their needs. Therefore, I work hard to identify the specific learning and emotional needs of each of my clients so that they can receive the appropriate support that can aid them in living a fulfilling and meaningful life.

Do your little bit of good where you are; it’s those little bits of good put together that overwhelm the world.
